I’m Celia Varvill, the Founder of My Virtual EA
I have 15 years’ experience working as an Executive Assistant at senior level. Based in West London, I am an experienced, trusted and reliable self-employed professional with the knowledge and expertise to provide you with first class virtual assistance and administrative support.
My Virtual EA provides secretarial services to individual headhunters, as well as Partners and Research Associates at either small boutique search firms or larger executive search companies in and around London.
Being virtual and freelance allows my clients the opportunity to be flexible

About me
After completing my Classics degree at University, I returned to London where I trained at Quest Professional Secretarial and Business School. For over a decade, I have been working as an Executive Assistant in the Financial Services industry and, more recently, Executive Search. I started My Virtual EA to support those who don’t necessarily have the requirement or budget for a full time assistant who can support with the day-to-day project work.
How I can help
Whether it’s just for a couple of hours, or a couple of days a week, having that extra support would free up your time: think about it, when you’re taking time out of your day doing those time-consuming, non-fee earning tasks yourself, you’re doing them at your business hourly rate. It would be my pleasure to handle these tasks on your behalf, far more efficiently and at a much more cost-effective hourly rate than if you were to do them yourself. Also, there are no additional staff or overhead costs as I work from a fully-equipped home office.
From smaller administrative tasks, to longer-term retained or one-off projects, I am at your disposal. We can work together to tailor my services around your needs. As part of my personalised service, I undertake all work myself assuring the highest possible level of quality and accuracy.

~ Events management (Partners Board trips, team off-sites, BD dinners/lunches)
~ Microsoft Office including presentation support in PowerPoint & Word
~ Document creation/editing (longlists, candidate appraisals, proposals, job specs)
~ Secretarial support including typing, correspondence and proofreading
~ Copywriting and website support in WordPress
~ SEO support in Moz
~ Online data research, working closely with the designated Associate
~ General email and ever-changing diary management
~ Dropbox, Notion, Slack, Pinterest, Vimeo
~ PA Duties (conference calls/expenses/maintaining filing systems)
